British bike manufacture is on the up!

There is defiantly a value attached to British built items and cycles are no exception. A recent BikeBiz article has highlighted the recent boom in British bicycle numbers.

Two examples that effect us at JAC the most are Brompton and Pashley bikes. We are getting deliveries from them pretty much every couple of weeks and the bikes are just beautiful.

Plus the other thing to remember is that the Brompton bikes are made to order. So if you are planning on ordering one, get in sooner rather than later...

No.1 Window Display

We have been thinking about the new window display heading towards the Jubilee weekend for some time now. But we never imagined it could look this good. 

Many thanks to Shannon Cree from Headmasters (also on Clemens Street). This display now looks awesome!

As you well know we have 2 windows and the other one is in progress but why not come down and have a look at the vintage themed window display.

Bromptons!

Dont we just love Bromptons. We have been selling Bromptons for a number of years now and we have seen the popularity of them grow year on year.

Brompton Demo Update.

I have given the Brompton Demo bike its maiden voyage this week and ridden it to work on my short commute and all is well. I have to admit however that its not a M6 as mentioned in the demo listing the other day but it is in fact the new H Type bar. 

This bike is also going to get some changes but here is the basic spec as of now:

H6L (6 speed with muguards no rack)

Brompton Freestyle!

This is a very good video and proves that Brompton's are well made sturdy machines. Although saying that, I'm sure they will be having a few more 'warranty' claims through when other people try and do the same...
